Maple Tahini Cookies

Maple Tahini Cookies

These are gluten-free, dairy free and vegan and never last long in my house!

You will need:

- 1.5 cups of almond meal

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1/4 tsp sea salt

- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1/3 cup tahini

- 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup sesame seeds


1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius

2. Spread sesame seeds on a plate

3. Mix together all dry ingredients (except sesame seeds)

4. Mix together all wet ingredients

5. Combine dry with wet ingredients and stir until well mixed

6. Using a spoon or your hands, roll the dough into small balls

7. Roll each ball in sesame seeds and then flatten on baking tray into cookies

8. Before baking, spoon a small amount of jam into centre of cookie (optional)

9. Bake the cookies for 8-12 minutes (or until they are golden)

10. Let them cool and enjoy ✨
